OPENING: Sales Representative, Full-Time
LOCATION: Northern California and Minnesota
We're seeking a motivated Sales Representative who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoys winning the sale through information-driven efforts, relationship-building, and innovative business solutions with exceptional time management skills. The Sales Representative’s role is to uncover business opportunities leveraging technical knowledge that will be taught in the onboarding process. This individual will also utilize consumer insights to develop, maintain, and increase sales revenue within an assigned territory to grow vertically with Alliance's dealer partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Service and support existing customer base (dealers and end-user contractors)
- Expand and grow product sales within existing customer base (dealers and end-user contractors)
- Cultivate new customers and end users
- Support aggressive education and training plan to promote Alliance products in the market
- Present/facilitate industry certified training presentations
- Conduct hands-on product demonstrations in classroom and job site settings
REQUIREMENTS:
- Five years industry sales experience or equivalent
- 4-year degree or equivalent background in the construction or hardscape industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated public speaking skills to audiences of 25-35+ attendees
- Strong time management, organization and proper decision making skills
- 50% travel within territory and occasionally to national trade shows and corporate office
- Must live within the territory
- Bilingual English-Spanish a plus
- Must have passport and able to travel to Canada
- Must own reliable vehicle for travel and product samples (company to offer vehicle allowance)
- Must have valid driver’s license, registration and proof of insurance
- Occasional long distance travel by car or air may be necessary
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be physically and mentally able to work 40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Must have the capability to transport 50 lbs. of samples in and out of vehicle
- Must be able to occasionally work on job sites to demonstrate proper use of products
